Israeli soldiers closes Gaza’s sole commercial crossing for 10 days

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Israeli occupation authority (IOA) is to close down Karam Abu Salem crossing, Gaza’s sole commercial crossing, for 10 days as of April 14. The shutdown is executed under the pretext of Jewish holidays.“We’ve been notified by the (Israeli) occupation about the near shutdown of Karam Abu Salem crossing for 10 separate days due to Jewish holidays” declared Raed Fatouh, head of Gaza coordination committee, in a statement to Anadolu News Agency on Friday.Fatouh further stated that the shutdown, will be in effect on the days of 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, and 25 April and resumed on 5 and 6 May, and will be taken up again on 3 and 4 June.He pointed out that Karam Abu Salem crossing is closed down each year on similar dates due to Jewish holidays./129
